Text Box:  After several months of snow and ice in Nebraska, we are beginning to see and feel the evidence of spring.  Trees will be leafing out, flowers planted and grass becoming green.  New growth is taking place around us.  And we will help the growth by nurturing the plants and grass with watering, mowing, etc.  Those things that look dead, will now come alive and we must do our part to help them grow.  Just like Christ died on the cross for all of us.  He made that sacrifice so that we could be forgiven and have new life.  We must all die to self to become alive in Christ. We must continue to nurture our lives to grow spiritually.  In order for our lawns and plants to nourish, we must water and feed them to see growth.  And like our spiritual bodies, we must feed them with the word of God to grow.  Christ made the ultimate sacrifice for us so that we could have new life.  May we remember this not only this Easter season but everyday of our lives.  I hope you all had a blessed Easter with family and friends.  Jane and I send our love to all of you.
