Deceased Shipmates

Voluntary Dues

TAPS
Gone the sun,
From the lakes,
From the hills
From the sky
All is well,
Safely rest,
God is nigh.

The shipmates listed below are assumed to be deceased. Information comes from shipmates, the V.A. and relatives of the shipmate.
This information is not

Please advise of any errors or omissions

Again, thank you to all shipmates that have sent  dues and donations to the Association. Without your support, it would be impossible to publish "The Rolling Stone", find our shipmates and have our reunions. Dues are $20.00 a year and are strictly voluntary. All or dues are tax deductible as we now have our non-profit tax status. All dues are applied for the year they are received unless designated for a particular year. We are aware that many cannot support the Association; however, we would like to see as many support the Association as possible as the dues are the primary source of income for the Association. Dues received to date since our December publication are listed below. Please use this list as your receipt as it is more cost effective than mailing individual receipts.

As I write this article our brave military men and women  are engaged in bombings of Kosovo.

I would like us all to pray for the protection of our service men and women and for those that are being forced out of their homes and are fleeing for their lives. To pray for God's peace upon them.

When David fled from his son Absalom in
Psalm 3, David felt like he was in the minority. There may have been as many as 10,000 soldiers surrounding him at this time (v.6). Not only did David's enemies view life differently, they actively sought to harm him. As king, David could have trusted his army to defeat Absalom. Instead, he depended upon God's mercy (.4); therefore, he was at peace with whatever outcome occurred, knowing that God's great purposes would prevail. We can overcome fear by trusting God for His protection in our darkest hour.

Psalm 3:  O Lord, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me! Many are saying of me, "God will not deliver him."  But You are a shield around me, O Lord; You bestow glory on me and lift up my head. To the Lord I cry aloud, and He answers me from His holy hill. I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me. I will not fear the tens of thousands drawn up against me on every side. Arise, O Lord! Deliver me, O my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked. From the Lord comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people.

May God bring peace!
